Luke Prevost

It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of 70 year old Mr. Luke Prevost formerly of Marigot who died at his residence in Castle Comfort on July 30th, 2020.

He leaves to mourn:

His wife – Jacqueline Lancaster-Prevost
His Daughters – Luanna, Tawana & Marie-Estelle
Son-in-Law – Joseph “JoJo” Hypolite
Grandchildren – Jarius & Tobias Hypolite
Brothers – Norris, Stanley & Elsworth
Sister – Annette Prevost-Dupuis
Sisters-in-Law – Joan, Vilyne, Vena & Myrtle
Brothers-in-Law – Vincent Dupuis, Herrie Etienne, Clifton Thomas & Emmanuel Lancaster
Adopted sisters – Francisca Victor & Merle Thomas Gordon
Nieces & Nephews including – Aurelia, Aurelius, Janita, Julius, Vanessa, Gilbert, Shanna, Janelle, Mandy, Ricardo, Gaddafi, Aumalie, Irvin, Brian, Wendy, Kendell, Carlie, Vincent, Delly, Keturah & Althea.

Close relatives including the Prevost family, the George, Thomas & Panthier families of Thibaud, the Abraham Family and Mrs Theresa Thomas of Marigot, Claire Etienne & Family, Arlington, Roger & Sheila Burnette, Charlie Samuel & Borger, Theresa Honore of Paix Bouche, Petula Buffong, Felix Charles and Eric.

Nelson Simon & the entire Simon Family, Andrew Wyke & the entire Wyke Family, Sister Lorraine Royer, Nelson Pierre, Denis Moses, Tony Cools-Latigue, Ahmed Alexander, Marvlyn Birmingham and very good family friends in Guadeloupe, Martinique and the U.S.A, his farm workers, professional colleagues in Dominica and the region including the Agricultural Extension Officers in the Cochrane District, members of the Cochrane Farmers Group, the Pineapple Association of Dominica and the UWP Roseau South Constituency Association. The Priests, Communion Ministers, and members of the Fatima Parish Community. All the business places & vendors who regularly bought his produce.

Other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.

Family and friends are welcome to attend the Funeral Mass of the late Luke Prevost which will take place at Our Lady of Fatima Parish Church in Newtown on Monday August 17th, 2020 at 3:00pm. Viewing will begin at 2:30pm with interment at the Roseau Catholic Cemetery.
